Melanie loves working with people who feel overwhelmed, find spaciousness in their mind and body so they feel connected, centred and expansive so they can 100% present with the people whom they care for the most.
She merges intentions, with breath and joint free movement with her knowledge of energy lines that run through the body to help you recognize your own inner strength, resilience and amazing abilities.
“I love it when the spark of life starts to shine through the practitioners eyes; the joy when people get a breakthrough and the community which grows as people find connections between fellow practitioners. It is also an honor to be able to create a space where people can just simply relax and enjoy their own personal sanctuary.”

Yoga Alliance 200 Hour Yoga Teacher
Hatha, Yin and Ashtanga Yoga, Beginners yoga classes
Hi, I'm Lisa. I’ve practiced yoga for almost 20 years. I practice hatha, yin and ashtanga yoga. I’m grateful to have been trained and inspired by all my teachers, including Melanie Ashley, Dr Andrew McGonigle and Norman Blair and qualified as Yoga Alliance 200 hour yoga teacher. This along with my formal teaching profession equips me to articulate the subtleties of you in many ways, making it accessible for all to enjoy
What I do: I co-ordinate the mind, body and breath in mindful movements to strengthen and nourish the body and to still/calm the mind. The practice is great for beginners and those who wish to deepen their practice.
Why it works: The practice gives us an opportunity to create space, to notice the sensations in the body and thoughts that appear and to respond compassionately and with kindness to them. We then move this into our lives to be responsive, compassionate to life rather than reactive to it - taking yoga off the mat and into your everyday world
Why I do it: I love sharing the practice of yoga so that others can feel rested, revitalised and empowered.
