What drew you to Ashtanga Yoga?
I started my yoga journey when I became a mother, 5 years ago.
At that time, my life changed drastically, and the feeling of loneliness and darkness got me deep, making me feel lost. I needed something to connect with myself again, to help me look inside, something that held me.
It was back then when I started my Ashtanga Yoga practice.
All my life I had the need of learning, experimenting and sharing through corporal movement. Doing gymnastics as a girl, becoming a dancer in Musical Theater later, teaching Pilates and finally, sharing my path in the Ashtanga yoga practice. After being practicing daily for almost an year, I enrolled in an Ashtanga yoga teacher training in Barcelona. This teacher training gave me the title to teach others but the most important lesson I learnt there was a life-tyle.
Since then, I practice 6 times a week because it works for me. It gives me the chance to start fresh everyday, watching the new day as a blank paper. I will always be a yoga student but I also love my path as a teacher.
Why Teach Ashtanga Yoga?
I teach this discipline of yoga because I felt the call and I keep doing it because it has changed me in so many ways.
Why Does It Work for You?
With a consistent practice you will see the changes in yourself. I aim to follow the classic Ashtanga style as much as possible within my classes, but there is space for everyone who wants to join. The only requirement is to want to do it
