Designed for those returning to yoga, after a break and for anyone who wishes to build on their previous yoga experience. Within FOUR weeks, you may notice:

Improved strength, flexibility in the body from the mindful movement (based on the Ashtanga Vinyasa system,)
More pleasure from your everyday fitness regime, environment, and immediate connections
You'll start to feel calmer more often from the pranayama (breathing techniques)
You have more energy to attend endless meetings or
to keep up with the children
A greater sense of wellbeing as you become more centered to navigate decisions and option an make appropriate decisions, calmly from our meditation practices
Experience more confidence from better mind-body connection
Become fully present with those around you
We will close each session with relaxation to allow the body to absorb the practice.
3 Key Steps
Many people who join our ART in Yoga Courses at Clarity Yoga Shala simply want to enjoy feeling strong, flexible and light. Our 3 step approach will help you find the ART in Yoga by guiding you along a path to dissolve the tensions which may cause general aches and pain in the body.
Active Awareness

By Active Awareness I mean being aware of your physical well-being, the well-being of your mind and your vibrancy.
We will show you how to move better to release tensions in the gross muscle, resulting in greater range of movements. Your body will feel lighter and free of aches and pain most of the time. We will also show you how to breathe better for increased energy and centring in stressful situations.
Repetition

By Repetition I mean repeating techniques so you build emotional resilience as new connection between the mind and body are created to help you cope better in those stressful situations.
And in addition you'll build connections within the part of the brain which is responsible for movement, creative thinking and keeps you calm.
Tenacity

By tenacity I mean 'to keep going' when you feel you've reached your plateau. After learning how to integrate the body, breath and emotions for greater homeostasis between the nervous system, the endocrine system, the cardiac and respiratory systems; you'll just feel healthier, vibrant and alive.
You'll also increase the harmony between your thoughts, actions, and behaviour so you feel centred – whatever your challenge.

Mindfulness for improved focus
Relaxation techniques to help your mind and body find their natural rhythm and optimise their efficiency
How to engage the appropriate muscles so you find greater physical strength and support through your core, upper and lower body
Personalised movements to help you move without pain and enjoy the tension release from the stretches
Increased usage of key respiratory muscles so you increase the tidal flow of oxygen to your mind and vital organs
Conscious awareness of how to breathe so you stimulate the part of the mind responsible for keeping you calm
Postural alignment so you feel centred and confident
How to experience space in the mind and between the joints so you feel light, free and flexible
A classical sequence of yoga postures so you can start developing a home practice

Even though I have practiced yoga for a while, I feel like I now have a good foundation in yoga.
I want to develop my physical practice more but my friend wants to develop a personal practice so she's not dependent on classes or YouTube. My other classmate wants to build more flexibility in his hips. And Clarity Yoga Shala provided a range of classes to support each of us.
So it's great this course helped each of us to find the right path.
